When framed in terms of environmental risks, U.S. race and ethnic minority groups have demonstrated higher levels of environmental concern than the majority. It is posited that in other contexts around the world where people migrating from countries with relatively small per capita ecological footprints arrive in places with relatively large per capita ecological footprints elevated levels of environmental concern should also be observed among the immigrant population. In this paper,this paper I explore that hypothesis using survey data and face-to-face interviews gathered in Marseille, France.
