This paper focuses upon the human migratory trajectory from eons on this planet to slowly moving out into orbital space and whether sociology needs to craft theoretical frames to grasp the possibility of a single society comprised of social actors distributed across terrestrial and orbital platforms as an emerging 21st century reality. In so doing ideas of a post-Weberian state (the Argos), world-system relations beyond death (the Exo-World System) and theoretical problems with a single social form that includes both terrestrial and orbital actors (Einstein’s Problem) will also be introduced.
