In recent years, there has been a surge in DIY medicine, defined as any attempt by lay people to take control of their own health or healthcare by circumventing medical, regulatory, or corporate gatekeeping or authority. This session welcomes submissions addressing any topic related to DIY medicine or consumer resistance, including but not limited to biohacking, self-experimentation, non-regulated product use, and responses to insecurity in healthcare.
