Lots of folk move from the global south to the north (we used to say from the third world to the west, but, well, we don’t say that anymore). But more folk actually move within the south. This panel will look at current south-south migration trends, examining the whos, hows, and whys of movement. Papers may examine, using qualitative or quantitative methods, movements of refugees, sex workers, economic middlepersons, children, "temporary" migrants, “settlers,” or other movers/movements.
