Housing instability caused by gentrification, displacement, and the stressors of poverty carry wide-ranging consequences for individuals and cities. How are cities rebounding from the Foreclosure Crisis? What are the long-term consequences of neighborhood change? What factors affect the mechanics of displacement? This session will explore these and related aspects of what many scholars consider to be a rapidly-changing urban housing market.
