Mon, August 12, 8:30 to 10:10am, New York Hilton, Floor: Concourse, Concourse F

Session Submission Type: Paper Session 100min

Description

Multiracial population, as they have been classified by the US Census with a two or more races, represent one of the fastest growing race/ethnic groups in the United States. However, how we count multiraciality and the ways modes of counting overlap with modes of identifying remain an open question. The papers in this session explore these debates for various forms and types of racial and ethnic mixing.
