This session explores the gendered experiences of men and women within same occupation. The session begins with a paper on gendered experiences in first job search in engineering, continues with three papers on gender differences in career strategies and trajectories in high tech and in the adult film industry, and ends with a study on the gendered impact of the financial crisis on the law profession.
