Air pollution is linked to a range of adverse health outcomes. One important including decreased cognitive function. However, most of the existing literature investigating this relationship is cross-sectional and does not examine racial differences. Using data from six waves of the Americans' Changing Lives study, I will use growth curve modeling to assess the impact of exposure to industrial pollution on cognitive decline trajectories. Importantly, I will assess racial differences in these potential effects.
