The History of Sociology and Social Thought section issued an open call for papers that focus on central themes and developments in the history of sociology, as a discipline, and in the broader history of reflection on the “social” dimension of human life. The selected papers showcase the high quality of cultural and scientific insights that are possible through systematic and sustained historical reflection on sociology, as a discipline and also a specific type of social thought.
