30405 - Effective Public-Facing Sociology: Advice from the Policy World

Description

Sociologists show an increasing interest and willingness in doing research that has an impact in legislative and policymaking sectors. However, it can be difficult to know how to shape research to this end. In this workshop, representatives from think tanks and research centers share resources and skills that can help sociologists construct their work to be more digestible and accessible to policymakers and non-academic audiences.
