Session Submission Type: Paper Session (90 minute)
This session seeks to highlight innovative approaches in sociological practice and public sociology – broadly defined. We invite papers considering new approaches to advancing sociological practice and public sociology. In addition to scholarship and research, we seek to also highlight advancements in sociological practice and public sociology in teaching, institutional service, policy development, local and community engagement, and social activism. How can we practice sociology in the various realms of an academic/professional career and life?
