Session Submission Type: Paper Session (90 minute)
Cities in the Global South experience distinct weather events, ecological and economic changes, and forms of pollution, particularly as climate impacts intensify. This session explores the urban-environmental challenges and futures of Southern cities. For all CUSS sessions, we welcome research centering topics of race, racism, and racialization; and research on urban, suburban, and rural spaces.
