Session Submission Type: Workshop
This session will provide a practical overview of applying for research support in the social sciences from four prominent supporters of sociological research. Panelists will discuss their priorities, the proposal writing and review process, the basics of what makes a good proposal, processes for developing ideas for funding and budgeting, and resources that specify what to include in proposals. With extensive experience evaluating proposals, panelists will discuss how to develop and write a sound application from the perspective of a funding organization.
