Session Submission Type: Panel Session
This paper session will feature three papers on education and Black people. One paper will focus on the relation between Black historiography and educational development. A second paper will examine the ever changing demand for appropriate education and capital investment in Africa and the Diaspora. A third paper will examine the education of Black people between 1940 and 2010 in the United States of America with special reference to data from the National Center for Education Statistics.
