This research looks at the victimization of the LGBT community Canada and tests RAT or lifestyle approach in explaining crime. This research is part of a larger test of RAT / Lifestyle among various subpopulations of victims. Findings indicate that victimization, specifically repeat victimization of the LGBT community cannot be explained by the same variables as the general population or even other sub-populations which also share the minority or unequal status designation.
