Wed, Nov 19, 8:00 to 9:20am, Marriott, Salon 7, Lower B2 Level

Abstract

In the late 1980s Jacobs took up a consulting position with the New York Organized Crime Task Force whose work led to many convictions of racketeers and their associates in the New York City construction industry, in particular. He was a leading participant in the administrative approaches to organized crime control pioneered in New York City. He has written numerous books and articles on local, state and federal governments’ legal attack on racketeering.
