Parenting from Prison Pilot Program: Including Community Partnerships

Abstract

The Parenting from Prison Pilot Project in Missouri was a two year collaborative effort between the Missouri Department of Corrections, Family and Community Trust (FACT) and other stakeholders to provide wraparound services to children of incarcerated mothers. The purpose of this poster is to describe this unique program and its distinctive components, as well as offer policy recommendations on the role of community partnerships in the reentry process.
