Korean version of Psychopathy-Checklist-Revised (Cho & Lee, 2008) has not been well understood to western society. One study (Sohn & Lee, submitted) suggested good fits of three- and four-factor models to explain Korean psychopathy construct. However, future research has to prove whether the Korean PCL-R works to predict antisocial outcomes, possibilities of problematic behaviors in prisons, furthermore recidivism after release. The main purpose of this current study seeks predictive validity which in turn can suggest external validity of this instrument. By examining correctional staff evaluations about inmates (Sohn, Webb, & Lee, 2010) and recidivism information as dependent variables using three-and four-factor models as independent variables, the current study asks preliminary predictive validity and better insight of construct validity.
