Does the age crime curve hold for cybercrime? The present study replicates and extends an earlier American based survey of college students with a sample from New Delhi, India. We use self-report data on several hacking behaviors for measures of cyber-deviance. Most studies of cybercrime have been performed in western countries. It is possible that the different social structural and cultural conditions found in India may result in differences in observable characteristics of the age-cybercrime curve. We, therefore, also examine cross cultural effects on the age crime curve by comparing it to similar studies. The implications for criminological theory from a life course perspective are discussed
