Research examining dating violence among Latino teens largely ignores many forms of violence that these teens experience. This study examines the nexus between dating violence, other forms of victimization, and polyvictimization among Latino youth across two waves of data from the Dating Violence among Latino Adolescents (DAVILA) study (Wave 1, N = 1,525 and Wave 2, N = 574)). The results revealed that dating violence was significantly associated with physical assault, child maltreatment, peer/sibling victimization, sexual victimization, and stalking. Dating violence was also associated with peer and sibling victimization (Wave 1) and conventional crime (Wave 2). Implications for prevention efforts will be discussed.
