This paper presents insights on the areas of vulnerability for Swiss firms in international business activities. The Swiss survey on bribery and corruption, carried out in 2014, seeks to produce an evidence-based assessment on the nature and extent of bribery in Swiss business activities abroad. The question raised is to understand how this issue affects the Swiss business sector and if the legal system in place is relevant to reduce the risk of corrupt behaviors and to counter corruption in general.
