This paper interrogates the experiences of Young Immigrant Persian / Muslim women as sites of violence located within both their respective home and host countries. The imputed transgressions of these youths are manipulated in order to overshadow, if not conceal the actual crimes against them in individual, institutional and ideological relations.Race, culture and religion contribute to both criminality and criminalization. A consciousness of oppression, as a pedagogy of liberation, serves to empower and thereby attenuate the emotional, mental and physical insecurities that tend to characterize the suffering of these young women.
