Labor Trafficking Survivor Outcomes, Interactions with Service Provider and the Civil and Criminal Justice Systems

Abstract

For those labor trafficking survivors who have come to the attention of service providers and/or the civil and criminal justice systems, the field lacks information regarding long-term outcomes and survivor experiences interacting with these systems. This paper will present information from first-hand interviews with survivors of labor trafficking, service providers and other stakeholders regarding survivors' escape experiences as well as long-term outcomes, experiences navigating service provision and the civil and criminal justice systems, and recommendations for improvements.
