This presentation will summarize findings from data sources that attempt to accurately capture information on violent victimization of and offending by Hispanic juveniles. Primarily, findings from the National Crime Victimization Survey will be presented on violent victimizations of Hispanic juveniles for offenses including sexual assault, robbery, and aggravated assault. In addition, trends in Hispanic juvenile homicide and suicide victimization from the National Center for Health Statistics Vital Statistics System will be presented. Finally, findings from agencies that voluntarily report victim and arrestee ethnicity to the National Incident Based Reporting System will be discussed.
