Hispanic juvenile offenders on probation and in residential placement

Abstract

The presentation will summarize analyses of Census of Juveniles on Probation and Census of Juveniles in Residential Placement data profiling juvenile offenders of Hispanic ethnicity held in on probation and in juvenile detention and placement facilities. Analyses will compare probation and placement rates across states and over time. Comparisons to other minority groups and to non-Hispanic whites will be included.
