Abstract

Since the death of Chris Benoit in 2007 the link between steroid use and violence has remained in the spotlight. The use of steroids in the wrestling world is nothing new as rumors have swirled about its use in the early 1980s. This research aims to look at the use of steroids by wrestlers and bodybuilders and the frequency in which these individual engage in violent crime, most notable domestic violence.
