Examining RCMP Calls for Service and Delivery Models

Police resources are being stretched to capacity due to a variety of factors such as changing demographics and increasing 9-1-1 calls for service delivery and order maintenance. Utilizing two years of Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) data, this poster presentation will highlight urban and rural service delivery models, response times and shadow populations within the unique Alberta landscape.
