One gap in criminal career research is the basic need for a better understanding of the long-term offending careers of non-white males and females. This poster provides a detailed description of the various dimensions of the criminal career (e.g., participation, frequency, recidivism probabilities), drawing on criminal history data spanning ages 17 to 52 from a prospective developmental study of a cohort of urban African American males and females who were in first grade in 1966 (N=1,242).
