Probation Supervision - What Works?

Abstract

The issue of caseload sizes and recidivism haunts the probation community. Is there a “magic number” for caseload sizes? Will it reduce recidivism amongst probationers? The poster presents a brief overview of the current probation system as well probation officer concerns. The poster also shows the various programs that have gained considerable success reducing recidivism and innovative new ideas and approaches to probation.
