Abstract

The importance of technology, communication and more specifically social media, has been a growing issue for policing over recent years, yet little it remains an area of little investigation/evidence. This thematic panel draws together the theoretical and practical discussions of crime in a cyber-world, reflections in public perception through the use of social media, and effective communication; it’s role in perception and expectation.
