A series of papers will examine the complexity of dynamic needs and static risk factors of offenders, and how they impact various offender outcomes. Drawing from a set of international studies, various models examine patterns of dynamic needs. Implications for correctional programming are then highlighted through this greater appreciation of the patterns of comorbid conditions.
