Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
This session shares the findings from a four year US Office of Justice Programs funded project to determine the effects of group mentoring at the Boys & Girls Clubs. The national mixed methods evaluation included a large quantitative study (250 clubs), an in-depth qualitative case study (20 club sites), a fidelity of implementation analysis based upon group mentoring best practices, and a cost benefit analysis. During the session, members of the panel will present procedures and findings from the various aspects of the evaluation in addition to a cross cutting analysis that combines results. The session will include ample time for discussion about process and results.
