Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel

Abstract

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) provides national leadership, coordination, and resources to prevent and respond to juvenile delinquency and victimization. OJJDP has a unique mission to develop and disseminate knowledge about what works to prevent juvenile delinquency and victimization and improve the effectiveness of the juvenile justice system. To that end, OJJDP funds juvenile justice research and evaluation; sponsors a number of data collection programs investigating youth involved in the juvenile justice system; and supports publications and other research dissemination tools. This panel will explore the many OJJDP resources available to researchers.
