Abstract
Little is known about the effectiveness and ultimate impact of anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism strategies. The papers in this panel examine a diverse array of responses to terrorism and conflict, including legal actions, law enforcement, and use of force by the state, as well as the influence of non-governmental organizations.
