Displaced Populations of Late Capitalism

Abstract

Under the guises of care, counting, disaster, or revolution citizens of the world continue to experience harms as a result of the techniques of late-capitalism. As such, this panel is designed to examine a number of different points and intersections from which the realities of such techniques are experienced. Specifically, this panel looks to give attention to those least able to resist, protect, and survive the violence stemming from this specific historical context. Aiming, ultimately, to understand the techniques implored in such a society that result in the abandonment and displacement of these populations.
