Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session
This roundtable will focus on the experiences of the presenters working with various rehabilitation programs utilizing practices such as dance, yoga, meditation, and art. The presenters have all worked with these programs inside prisons or within Alternative to Incarceration or other rehabilitative programs. They will discuss the important role that these programs can play in transforming the lives of those under punitive control by providing them with meaning skills and experiences which can help reduce recidivism.
