Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session
This Roundtable discussion will focus on how different disciplines have helped shape and broaden our criminological thinking and responses – the areas under consideration will be criminology and social work and crime and policing. The Roundtable discussants will consider how the different aspects of our learning/practice/knowledge interact and help to develop a broader understanding. The Roundtable discussants will seek to discuss in addition whether this broader understanding is always a ‘good thing’ and look at when this might not work.
