Victimization of Farm Owners and Operators in Georgia, United States

Abstract

This project is a victimization survey conducted during 2015 directed toward the farm owner/operator population of Georgia, USA. The sampling frame was constructed from a customer list of a large insurance company specializing in rural markets. Results yielded 415 completed surveys including questions regarding characteristics of farming operations, operator demographics, type of victimization, and reporting rates to authorities.
