Abstract

Jolene Grajczyk worked as the Case Worker for the Travis County Veterans Court since March, 2011, where she worked closely building relationships with community providers and the VA to help the Combat Veterans participating in the program. In July 2014, Jolene was promoted to the position of Veterans Court Administrator. She continues to work closely with community stakeholders to continue to build relationships and maintain a successful program. Jolene is a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, 11 years of active service and 12 years in the Air National Guard retiring from the Guard in 2008. After completing her active service in the U.S. Air Force, she went on to Northern State University in South Dakota, graduating in 2003 with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Education and has worked in the Criminal Justice field as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor for 14 years. She has had two work passions in her life and has been able to merge those worlds together to work closely with our combat veterans in assisting them with the sometimes difficult reintegration journey.
