Crime reporting in newly emerging Hispanic communities

Abstract

Previous research showed considerable differences in situational factors associated with the reporting of crime against Hispanics, Blacks, and Whites. This study extends the research by examining the crime reporting behavior of Hispanics in newly emerging Hispanic communities in the United States, in comparison to Hispanics in traditional communities. The study uses the National Crime Victimization Survey.
