Abstract

This presentation discusses policy and practice reform from the viewpoint of a practitioner with over two decades of experience in both Federal and State/County probation. Mr. Hansen considers the magnitude of simultaneous changes happening in probation presently and conceptualizes the idea of “change fatigue” among himself and his staff noting the impact it has on implementation as it concerns uptake, transportability and fidelity in the organizational environment.
