Perceptions of the Death Penalty

• In Event: Attitudes Toward the Death Penalty

Abstract

The present paper will examine both levels of support and knowledge of the death penalty in the U.S. Using data from the Pew Research Center, perceptions of the fairness of the death penalty, the moral justification for the death penalty, as well as the likelihood of innocent persons being put to death will be considered.
