Evaluation of the Second Chance Act in OJJDP FY2010 Juvenile Sites: Interim Impact Findings

Abstract

Second Chance Act funding supports reentry programs for high-risk juveniles. With support from NIJ and OJJDP, the Urban Institute is evaluating five promising sites juvenile reentry programs. Two sites, Virginia and Oklahoma, are participating in a quasi-experimental impact evaluation. This evaluation uses both administrative data and youth interview data. Researchers from the Urban Institute will present interim impact evaluation findings for these sites.
