The Investigation of Youth Suicide: Typifying Victimization Patterns of Elementary, Middle, High School, and College Students

Abstract

Abstract: The following research study contemplated the patterns correlating to youth that commit the act of suicide. The data set investigated cases in a cross sectional population to include the exploration of elementary students, middle school students, high school students, and college students throughout the United States. There were a total of 160 cases assessed with the objective centering upon the need to know more about the criminality of suicide among youth in America. The research design utilized to evaluate the cases included a data content analysis for the purpose of identifying victimization patterns. The data collected illustrated an innovative data set yielding typologies to employ for the investigation of suicide among youth to include motives, criminality patterns, and rationalization that occurs prior to death.
