Faculty Led Study Abroad and Assessment of Learning Outcomes

Abstract

A discussion of the logistics of short-term faculty led study abroad programs and the assessment of student learning. Educational travel outcomes revolve around three primary areas: discipline-specific, personal growth, and global/cultural awareness. Designing travel courses around these outcomes facilitates successful implementation of these program.
