Implementing the Cure Violence Hospital-Based Program in New Orleans

Abstract

The CeaseFire New Orleans Hospital Crisis Intervention was the first program to adapt and implement the Cure Violence hospital program outside of Chicago. This presentation will describe the components of the hospital program and discuss its role in preventing the spread of violence in the city of New Orleans.
