The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which workplace efforts and rewards are associated with probation officer stress and productivity. This project will use the effort-reward imbalance model on a subgroup of criminal justice; probation officers. The probation officers will be asked to complete questionnaires regarding their perceptions of self well-being, perceived reward, and perceived effort. Afterward, the responses will be collected and analyses will be conducted using correlation, ANOVA, and multiple regression to determine the extent to which perceptions of reward effect probation officer productivity and health. After the analyses are completed, results and conclusions will be discussed to aid in obtaining a better understanding of probation officer productivity and health.
