The Survey of Law Enforcement Personnel in Schools

Abstract

This presentation will discuss findings from preliminary activities conducted during the development of the Survey of Law Enforcement Personnel in Schools (SLEPS). Included in the discussion will be information gathered from verification calls to law enforcement agencies during the development of the universe, along with results from the cognitive testing of the law enforcement agency questionnaire and the school resource officer questionnaire. There will also be an update on the current status of the project, followed by an outline of the activities and timeline going forward.
