The Genesis of SNAP® (Stop Now And Plan) and the Impact Treatment Intensity

Fri, Nov 18, 8:00 to 9:20am, Hilton, Grand Salon 6, 1st Level

Abstract

This presentation will explore the effects of SNAP® (Stop Now And Plan), a multi-modal, gender-specific, evidence-based intervention for young children with serious disruptive behaviour problems, and their families. Treatment intensity data will be used to explore any differential impact for SNAP Boys and SNAP Girls upon short- term behavioural outcomes, as well as, criminal offending. The sample will be drawn from the third wave (n=1550) of individuals who were referred between 2001-2010 with an average age of 9 years at referral and 19 years of age at follow-up.
