Contemporary culture conflict, constructed by print media, asserts a collision path between government & individuals across educational, work place, medical delivery, & immigration venues. Enacted policies reveal accommodation practices by politicians & local authorities to "sustain the rule of law" with some allowance for diversity. Media reports on education raise issues of state v. federal interpretation over bilingualism, disclosure of illegal student immigration status, and Common Core requirements: Arizona, California & Massachusetts consistently debate "english only" laws; Georgia & Utah struggled with bilingualism. Immigration crackdowns over illegal immigrants obtaining drivers licenses, opening bank accounts, & obtaining mortgages persist; Latino families report greater difficulty in securing home loans over Muslim applicants, with 15 states approving Shariah-compliant "mortgage alternative funding". Medical reports cite attempts to reconcile cultural differences from vitamin deficiencies to personal-care assistance, with funding & creation of insurance companies providing monetary assistance not covered by state allowances. Shariah-compliant investors prohibit lenders from earning interest, effectively placing lenders & borrowers into partnership lacking consistent rules as to line of repayment upon default..do these policies encourage unintended deviant/illegal behavior & rationalizations, undermining the cultural defense agenda.
